Local sights - an afternoon on foot

This is the first power plant I have seen that manages to look like a conservatory This is the first power plant I have seen that manages to look like a conservatory

I was wandering about the town today and found this power plant near Nik's house. I followed the river for a while then went thru the town, had coffee and a cake before walking along the fjord shore.

http://pics.livejournal.com/qidane/pic/0007gh07/g7 certainly looks like the business district, given it appears to have our local office and that of a competitor in frame. It's not our biggest office in the world, however, it appears that there's just the one partner.

Tokyo's almost certainly more interesting than up here, so I wouldn't recommend requesting a transfer.

Having company here would be nice though. :)

Tokyo's even cheaper (at least for some things) based on Andrew's posts.

I'm not sure I could name an Icelandic insurer - so I cannot imagine there would be much demand for me there. Andrew's photo's are convincing me that one day I do need to actually get round to seeing Iceland - it's been on the list a long time...
